Comporta is all horizontals: rice fields, boardwalks, the long line of the sea. Ana and Lukas wanted it to feel like an ordinary afternoon that happened to include a wedding.
The long walk
We walked the tide line for an hour, mostly in silence. At sunset a fisherman offered them sardines straight off the grill, which became the reception.
